Finally, I Wish you all a very merry Christmas!

I Just wanted to put up a Merry Christmas Banner even though it is after the fact. I am almost mortified that I still had a Happy Thanksgiving Banner up. I almost was gonna skip that and go straight to Merry Christmas( i should have), but i though that banner was cute. It wasn't that cute I needed to leave it up a month later. But I hope I have Merged out of my bubble.Things sure get busy with the Holiday.

I wrote another offer with a buyer (we close in JAN). I am trying to negotiate an offer with my Hobby Farm listing. I picked up two new buyers. Worked another job, dealt with the house and the abundant small things that come up with that.

I was so excited Christmas was here. I have been able to take a few minutes and realize how blessed we have been this Year! Business is better and life is good. I am getting tons of upgrades in the house. It's gonna look great! Things should start calming down. (if it is possible)

New Home!

Roger bought me a house! We are now home owners.

We had a great realtor (if I say so myself) and we were great buyers.
(and yes I purposely left out any comment on our lender)

For over a year now we have been searching. Over time we debated over buying an investment for a home. In the end investment seemed to be the best option for us. So that is what we bough flocks. Only time will tell if it is a smart route to go.

So far every thing seems to be working out, but the work has just begun and boy is there a long list of things to do. All work is technically cosmetic, but it will be quite an overhaul. When all is said and done we will have...

New Kitchen (cabinets, counter, floor, lights, paint and some drywall work, new window over sink)
New Half bath (sink, toilet, mirror, lights, drywall work, floor)
Newer full bath ( some things were already new but we are trading in for our own new or adding to it.. so the list is not exact yet...but gone with the old tile in with new tile to only be in tub area, mirror, vanity, lights)
New paint everywhere!!! and new texture in main living areas (this will replace the not so lovely fan style they have going on in there.)
Refinishing hard wood floors in living room, hall, and bedrooms (hoping for a dark stain)
New carpeting in Family Room (also know as the refinished garage)
Trim Painted White
All new light fixtures
Appliances

Eventually the outside landscaping (other than riping a lot of it out, we will work on this starting next years warm season)

really the list goes on, and there are lots of details.

DEMO START MONDAY!

Ok for now..

Well I figured something out for now. I will have to work on it some more.

Changed my blog?

Well I'm happy I changed my blog back ground. I'm excited I figured at out. My technical skill are very lacking in areas I am unfamiliar with. However I erase my really cool name I had. Don't get me wrong. I'm happy to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, but I like Brittany Klumb Realty and Reality. MMM.. will I get this figued out or will I have to call in support?

Halloween Fun

My kinda fun! Showing houses. That is right...you would think with this realtor gig I would get every holiday off. Not such. I woke up early to start a semi typical Saturday of appointments. (9-5). As fun as Halloween is, it dose not demand people's attention. This allows time for house hunting. Luckily nothing scary happened on my tours.

It does remind me of my last year's Halloween. I was showing a house in the evening, and the door bell kept ringing... Do you answer and tells the kids you have no candy or duck under the window and hope they go away?

First Blog Posting

I can't mention enough, how sweet my little niece Lily is! She called me today to talk. It made my whole day! I can't stop smiling. Anytime any niece or nephew wants to call I'm all for it. So fun, so sweet and just the thing to brighten any day up!

Since Lily asked if I have written on my Blog, I thought I would finally post something. I've never been one to write and even less of one to share by writing. I'm uncertain about what I want to write about. I love reading other blogs but thought I would never be doing this myself. I have to thank my wonderful sister-in-law Chrissy. She set me up. I would also like to thank my sister and other sister-in-laws. If they were not blogging I still would probably not be blogging. As you can tell from my ramblings, I have no idea what to write. I am looking forward to this new venture. or whatever you would call it.
